Description: WWII photo/print titled Engine Change in The Middle of The Desert. Luftwaffe doing engine repairs on a Messcherschmidt ME 110 in the North African desert. Series 1464b, dated June 3, 1941, Bild 8, Fr. OLF.; Foto Pk-Sturm (Presse-H.Hoffmann)/Aktueller Bilderdienst, Herausgeber J.J. Weber, Leipzig/Verantwortl. Leitung: Hermann Schinke, Leipzig. My thoughts on these photos I'm listing, is that maybe they came in groups and you either bought or collected more to get them all. It could be considered a form of propaganda, a way of keeping all the defeats they make against the enemy in the forefront of people's minds to keep them positive. While at this time, it was pretty much all positive for the Germans, but not for long. 9 1/4" x 7 1/4".
