Description: COLLIER’S MAGAZINE COVER ART FEB. 23, 1952. “Arriving at Church in Winter,” was painted by artist Charles Kinghan years earlier and later used to grace calendars and magazine covers (1895-1984). Horses Snow Sleigh Ephemera. Top edge was torn from a calendar and has a ragged edge as shown in photos. However that could easily be cropped out and this print would look great framed. Collier's was an American general interest magazine founded in 1888 by Peter Fenelon Collier. It was launched as Collier's Once a Week, then renamed in 1895 as Collier's Weekly. The magazine ceased publication with the issue dated the week ending January 4, 1957, although a brief, failed attempt was made to revive the Collier's name with a new magazine in 2012.—Wikipedia Shipped via USPS Ground Advantage
