Description: Please view this exquisite 1952 Vogue Strung Transitional Ginny with even, highly blushed (fevered) cheeks with no scuffs, and the RARE smaller, transitional blue eyes that work with your gentle assistance with no scratches to her eyelids. She retains her original, thick, lush and curly auburn/red wig in a side-part flip in the original set. Her eyelashes are very light, but her eyebrows are distinct and auburn in color. Ginny is appropriately marked "Vogue Doll" on her back, and "Vogue" on her neck and is a strung doll, not a walker, can stand on her own, hold all poses, and has no seam splits, cracks, stains or odors. Her body is evenly toned and all parts match in color. She has all her fingers and toes. She is gorgeous! Ginny is dressed in an excellent condition, untagged Vogue 1952 #21 "Linda" pinafore dress from the 1952 Kindergarten Series. This dress is an excellent vintage condition with some sizing still in the fabric. It is a pale-yellow printed organdy pinafore dress with gathered butterfly sleeves and edged in black ribbon laced braid at the shoulders and hem, with a single black bow tucked into the hemline. The dress closes in back with the original hook and bar closure with no rust. There are no stains, rips, or problems and has the matching, original pale-yellow printed organdy bloomers with excellent elastic. The dress has never been laundered. She wears her original white nylon socks and black center-snap shoes with Greek key snaps in very good condition, and a vintage half-slip. She wears a black hair ribbon with cluster of vintage yellow flowers in her luxurious hair. Please feel free to ask me questions and I will get back to you as quickly as I can. She is a lovely early transitional Ginny doll in a wonderful outfit, and you will be very pleased to add her to your collection. You may verify an almost identical doll in this outfit on page 73 of Barbara Clark's book, The Colorful World of Ginny, where it is shown in the pale blue version, and also on page 102 of the Izen and Stover book, second edition, purple cover, also in blue. This ensemble also came in a pink version. This doll will be lovingly boxed and shipped Priority for $10.85 which includes $100 insurance or Ground Advantage for $7.00. No International sales at this time. No returns unless I have grossly misrepresented her or made a terrible mistake.
