Description: Up for sale is a copy of Virginia: Geographical and Political Summary. Published Richmond, VA 1876 by BF Walker. Five nice color maps on onion skin like paper. Very scarce post civil war Southern Publication. Maps are fold out and while they have different dimensions two of the VA fold out maps are 22 x 10 roughly. Others are smaller. Fragile. Maps are in really nice shape and dont look like they have been opened prior to my photographs so I was careful with them and did not unfold top set on several occasions. Neat piece. Honestly, I sell maps and the three VA specific maps are probably each worth more than the entire sale price for the book. I did not want to break up a complete book though. If you know what this then you know what the maps are. Overall fair at best because front and rear boards are gone. Chipping to pages here and there and other dings etc.. Maps though are VG.
