These are huge statement earrings but are not too heavy to wear because they are ELECTROFORMED. Electroforming is a process where the artist creates a three dimensional piece of jewelry that is hollow inside. These Electroformed sterling silver earrings are in good VINTAGE CONDITION with surface marks from wear and an uneven surface dimpling in some spots due to the nature of the ELECTROFORMED process. Please examine all photos carefully. THESE EARRINGS ARE HOLLOW. MEASUREMENTS - These huge earrings are 1-6/8” long at the longest point and 1-2/8” wide at the widest point. WEIGHT - These earrings weigh 18.5 grams together - see photo #2. HALLMARKED - 925 and a capital D in a square for the designer DAVID VARSANO - see photo #5 - and tested for sterling silver.
