Description: Vintage teacup and saucer, probably from the 1960s or 1970s, with a colorful, exuberant romantic landscape straight from the garden of Eden (or Disney's Sleeping Beauty?), splashed all over both the cup and its saucer. Gold applied on the rim of both the cup and the saucer, and on the cup’s handle and base. Made in England. Excellent vintage condition with no visible chip, crack or crazing, and a clear crystalline ping when you hold it by the base and gently strike the rim of the cup (a sign that there is no crack). Gold is bright and intact. Please inspect the pictures closely (using the zoom feature) as they are part of the item’s description. Antique and vintage pieces are considered “used”, and while most of these teacups, being collectibles, probably haven’t seen much tea, if any, they might show slight imperfections or slight wear, natural for their age. Gilding is generally hand painted and therefore not always uniform in consistency. Additionally, age may discolor the gilding.
