Description: 1940s "New Look" Paramount Original - sleek, black, shawl collared with charmeuse bodice bib, darted bodice, 3/4 sleeves cuffed in charmeuse, dropped hip treatment, accordion on right side, again in charmeuse, slimming straight skirt - not pencil -with 10" walking slit for comfort. Mid-Calf length.Rayon and Silk Charmeuse. Professionally Dry Cleaned. Dress measures: bust 36, waist to 28, hips to 36, shoulder to shoulder 16, sleeve length from shoulder 17, length 48, hem sweep is 44 inches (almost 4 feet). Walking Slit measures 10 inches. The bagged shipping weight is 1 pound 2 ounces. A note regarding vintage clothing: it is rarely perfect.
