Description: This stunning wooden burl puzzle box is MCM style. It is vintage but I am not sure how old it is. It is signed "Maple Burl" along with a maker's mark that means it was made by Fred and Marilyn Buss. I am not sure if it is made form maple wood or i that is just how they sign it because I have seen a variety of their boxes signed "maple" even with different colors/types of wood. It has one drawer that can push out either direction (it is not attached at the bottom but the bottom is thinner so it doesn't fall out through the bottom). There is no handle/knob/pull so you have to push out the drawer form the opposite direction. The bottom measures about 5.25" long by slightly under 2.75" wide (at the widest part). It measures about 3" tall (at the tallest part). It is a really stunning beautifully crafted piece. The most noticeable flaw is a crack (shown in the last 2 photos). It also has some scratches, wear, divots, marks and inconsistencies/quirks. Please also reference the photos for its condition although not all flaws may be visible or mentioned.
