Description: Vintage JOFA goalie cage for kids/juniors. Part number: 265-51. Approximately 7 inches high by 5.5 inches wide. This mask is from 1973-1974 and at the time the JOFA company was trying to get young players to wear a mask (see photo of the goalie for Sweden in 1973...just a helmet and a mouth/tooth guard). Neither this mask (265-51) or the (267-51) mask were approved by the Swedish Hockey Federation for ice hockey play, but I'm sure many still used this because it was better than nothing. The approved cage was 250-51 (Arturs Irbe used that type) that was screwed to the helmet. $20 shipping to the contiguous 48 United States. Shipping for international bidders is $50.
