Description: Vintage Clevenger Bros Amethyst Optic Glass Bottle Mold Blown Purple Vase Bath OilsFabulous amethyst bottle with a stunning optic glass pattern. The bottle was made by Clevenger Bros in the 1940's. It is stamped C B on the bottom.The mold blown (done after the 1930's) glass bottle has a polished rim. The Clevenger Brothers used CB on the bases of bottles that were mouth blown into two-piece molds with cup-bottom baseplates. Each base had a pontil scar with “C” to the left of the scar and “B” to the rightIt measures 5" long x 2 1/2" wide x 6" tall.The amethyst mold blown bottle is in great condition. There are no chips, no cracks, and no crazing. It has normal mold blowing seams and marks from the firing. The color is deep and rich. The design is gorgeous and shows beautifully in the light.Add this pretty bottle to your bottle collection, to use as a vase, or bath oils. It would display wonderfully as is, especially wonderful when light shines through. It would make a great gift for someone who loves amethyst or purple, or who loves colored bottles.
