Description: For Sale: Bach Stradivarius Model 239 CML C Trumpet This is a C trumpet, not a B-flat trumpet, making it ideal for orchestral or advanced ensemble work. It is in good overall condition with the following details: • Brace: A crack is visible on the brace (see close-up in photos), but it remains intact and functional. • Horn: There are two minor, accessible dings near the bell. These do not impact the playability or sound quality. • Lacquer: Some cosmetic wear is evident on the lacquer, particularly on contact points and near the bell, consistent with normal use. • Bell: The rim shows evidence of prior repair, but the structure is sound. • Case: The included case is in poor but usable condition. The latches need reworking, and it is unclear if it is the original case. We purchased this trumpet from Brass Instrument Workshop (Rich Ida) in Atlanta. Rich has been maintaining this instrument and also provided the included appraisal. We recently purchased a replacement C trumpet for my son, who plays in the Atlanta Youth Symphony Orchestra (AYSO). This trumpet is the one he auditioned with and has been using in the orchestra, so it is well-suited for advanced performance. Location: This trumpet is located northeast of Atlanta.
