Description: This item is a beautiful white cotton slip for a baby girl, made in the Philippines. The tag says All Cotton, but the finish is lovely, almost like the fabric we used to call "polished cotton". It is smooth and wrinkle free. This little piece is short and broad, like many Midcentury baby pieces. It is 13" long, but the chest measures 22" around. I estimate that it will fit babies wearing 12 months comfortably, and may fit an older baby if a short length will work. It has nicely finished scalloped edges and the hem is trimmed with narrow lace. The skirt has a cluster of white on white embroidery. It closes with 2 little buttons at the back of the neck, but will go over most babies' heads. It is in lovely condition with no holes or stains. Pretty enough to wear on the outside! Very nice for underneath a sheer dress or any dress that needs a slip. Also a gorgeous piece to display in a vintage nursery.
