Description: Vintage 1982 Bell Shorty Helmet. Orange with Visor & Goggles.This is an amazing vintage 1982 Bell Shorty helmet in Orange with matching orange #510 visor.Size Large (7 3/8-7 1/2). Made at the Bell Helmets factory in Long Beach, California.Stamped on the side ear cover as follows:"106BELL (in oval)USA5 82"The 5 82 indicates that it was made in May 1982. The 106 is the model number. Bell stamped all of their helmets this way.The visor is a vintage (likely also 1982) matching orange style #510.The goggles are also vintage, likely also from the 1980s. The elastic strap is pretty worn out (can be replaced). The vinyl and plastic lenses are in good shape. They aren't the best goggles but will work and look pretty good.The helmet and visor are in amazing condition. Almost like new. Just a few very minor scuffs on the helmet (see photos). The lining is in good shape. There is a piece of oval foam missing from the inside top (pretty easy to glue a piece of foam there).The color is bright. Orange is the best color in my opinion:)
