If you really want to use it for training, you can use it by sewing the air vent on the inside of the wrist. This is a rare item in this condition, so it is recommended for collection, appreciation, or decoration. It has not been used in a sweaty way. I originally bought it to display and have only hit the mitts a few times for fun. I displayed it for a month or two and then put it in a plastic bag and stored it in a closet in a dark place.
