Description: Viking track frame and fork dating from the early 1960s, likely made soon after Beryl Burton won the World Pursuit Championship on a Viking track frame almost exactly like this one:https://www.cyclinglegends.co.uk/index.php/bikes/race-winning-bikes/54-beryl-burton23" center-top seat; 22.5" center-center top.Frame and fork are in excellent original condition throughout. No ripples, bulges, dents nor cracks anywhere. Good for another 60 years and beyond. Workmanship is top-notch throughout; the beautiful candy-blue finish is in excellent condition. There is one little spot on the back of one fork blade where the paint was damaged. Someone painted it over with red primer but never finished it. Maybe you can. Purely superficial in any case. The photos do not, unfortunately, fully capture the depth and beauty of the paint, it's a typical British flam paint-job of the period.50 years of soiling has been meticulously polished off the frame leaving the original paint fully intact. Install a clamp-on rear brake kit and the frame is good for the road. Please ask any questions you have before purchase. Thanks for lookin'!
