Description: It is a genuine US Army Officers jacket, not made as an issue item. It’s a better quality jacket purchased at a clothing sales store in Europe. The patch is the 172nd Infantry Brigade (deactivated, formerly based in Alaska). One of the company’s in each light infantry battalion of the 172d was on Airborne status for a while in the 80’s. it’s custom made and we cannot find another patch like this one. It is made for a man around 6 foot 150-165lbs. Additionally there is some tearing on the inside shown in the images, not noticeable from the exterior but must be mentioned.
