Haneri are sewn over the collars of kimono and nagajuban undergarments to protect valuable kimono from sweat and makeup or just to change the color. NOTE: This is from a huge lot of vintage Japanese items that we have acquired. They were stock from a shop in Kyoto that sold kimono accessories. Most of these were produced in Japan in the 1960’s or 1980’s and are vintage items. Some are unused, like new or have stains or other damage so examine the photos and read the description carefully before purchasing to determine the exact condition of this particular item and it’s value to you.
