The Gold deltas, HAVE progressive offset. THEY feature progressive weight shelves within the cavity to adjust the weight distribution on a club by club basis. The Titleist DCI GOLD iron features a midsize, shallow cavity-backed head with the weight low in the clubface with a Radiused sole, which provides the looks and feel of a blade with the forgiveness of a cavity-back iron. This is a great club and a great value for golfers of all skill levels. Long irons are weighted to promote playability and higher ball flight. Short irons are weighted to produce lower, more controllable ball flight. Traditional V-grooves for consistent trajectory and spin performance."The Titleist DCI Gold irons seek to give players "Direct Central Impact" on all shots. These irons are designed to help players transfer the maximum amount of energy from the club to the ball, while preserving the classic iron look and styling. These irons feature progressive Center of Gravity placement, with the CG lower in long irons to help get the ball into the air, and higher on short irons to maintain control. Sole camber allows the irons to be played in various lie conditions and the Gold model features increased offset to help square the face at impact. Review: "I had Pings for years, 22 to be exact, tried the switch over to Titleist and glad I did. I got a set of the DCI Gold with stiff shafts after trading my ping eye 2's after 22+yrs. So glad I did, got the 3-lw at a great deal, they were well worth the price. I played last Tuesday and shot a 39 on the front 9 and 40 on the back which is my best score to date 79. I shot 82 once with pings, but the feel and swing of rifle shafts and the blade feel like of the DCI's are above the pings in my opinion. They don't have the bulkiness and chunky feel of cavity backs which took a few rounds to get used too. I am a sweeper or picker of the ball and have to adjust to hitting down on it now but it controls distance and with the 8-LW it produces more spin and more distance control. the long irons are a little hard to hit 3-5 but my 6-LW are like hitting the ball with a marshmallow. I will gladly give up distance with being dead on with my wedges, from 150yds in is where the game is anyway. I would recommend these irons to anyone wanting Titleist, I'm not a scratch golfer by any means but am working on it with my last score of 79. These are for mid handicappers and those that shoot in the 90's." These irons are in good condition, there are minimal scratches (see pictures), all have very playable grips, great looking shafts, as well as almost no groove wear. These irons will be a great addition for many years.
