Description: You are bidding on The Race for the Emperor's Cup written by Paul Eve Stevenson. Published in 1907 by The Rudder Publishing Company, this 211 + page hardcover book provides a detailed account of the race between England and Nantucket with a boat by boat descriptive chapter. I believe it is a first edition although there is no mention on the copyright page. The condition is good for its age with some wear on the cover and an occasional loose page but overall a terrific book. I use the US Postal Service and use priority mail to ensure quick delivery although size/weight can often be a deterrent due to a balloon fee on boxes over a certain size. Shipping costs are based on weight distance from my home in Fairhaven, MA. In simplest terms, I ship priority mail unless it is a book (then I ship using media mail) or if the item is bigger than a breadbox or heavier than 5 lbs (unless I can fit it in a flat rate box). I've been selling on Ebay since 1998 but this is not a full time job.
