Cobert was a television and film composer known for his work in the 1960's scoring the Dark Shadows series and subsequent film iterations as well as the mini-series Winds of War. He found a niche in composing theme songs for some of the most famous Quiz and Game Shows of the late twentieth century. Those included The $25,000 Pyramid, Blockbusters, Password, To Tell the Truth and many more. Raised in New York, Robert was an avid theatre-goer; this playbill is from his personal collection.
