This set was originally designed by fantasy artists Boris Vallejo and his wife Julie Bell in 1999, when it originally sold for $800. It was discontinued soon after and is now EXTREMELY rare. This is a fantastic find for anyone who likes fantasy chess or is a fan of Boris and Julie. The pewter pieces are beautifully detailed. No board included. Set is sold as-is and not returnable. The condition of the pieces is used-good. Some of them have come loose of their colored bases; however, all they will need is a bit of adhesive to reattach. A few random pieces from the original board included.
