Description: Out of print artist book by Taryn Simon, chronicling a time where the artist lived in John F Kennedy International Airport from November 16 through November 20, 2009. Over five days, in both the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Federal Inspection Site and the U.S. Postal Service International Mail Facility, Simon documented seized items. With an essay 'Ever Airport' by Hans Ulrich Obrist. Book is in excellent condition - well-bound, clean and bright. Thick paperback in removable dustjacket. Now in protective mylar. Very minor edge-wear to covers, one small area faintly rubbed/soiled on front panel. Interior clean and crisp - appears scarcely opened. Includes exhibition catalogue consisting of 6 postcards in folded paper sleeve with exhibition details - all in excellent condition with the slightest bit of handling wear.
