Description: On auction is a mid 1980s Tag Heuer 3000 in used condition. The watch was kept in a very clean condition over the decades, and only has some minor blemishes from use. Fully functional, and comes with a brand new Renata battery. Have had the case and bracelet ultra sonically cleaned, so the watch is clean, and ready for use. Case: 35mm in diameter (37mm with the crown guard included), 38mm with the crown included and 9mm in height. Full stainless steel case in a sandblasted finish, brushed unidirectional bazel and a screw down case back. The case is in very clean condition for its age, with just minor blemishes, most of which are on the sides of the case and the top of the bazel. Dial: Original Gray dial, lumed Silver hands, lumed non numeral hour markers and a date window at 3 o'clock. The dial is still in a superb condition with no damage nor patina from age. The lume is of course too old to keep the charge for long, or glow brightly. Crown: Original screw-down stainless steel crown signed by Tag Heuer. Fully operational and without any cosmetic damage. Crystal: Original flat mineral crystal. Flawless condition without any scratches. Bracelet: Original full stainless steel link bracelet signed by Tag Heuer in ref. 345/3. 21 links for a total length of 18.3cm. Clasp locks perfectly and has the diver's extension as well. Has tiny scuffs from use, but very clean for its age. Weight: 78g with the bracelet included. Waterproof: 200M. A vintage watch shouldn't be submerged in the water until all rubber gaskets are replaced and the watch was pressure tested at your local watchmaker. Movement: Original vintage V8 Quartz movement from Tag Heuer in caliber 2.90, which is based on the ETA 955.414. Fully functional, runs accurately, and comes with a brand new Renata battery. No service records on this movement.
