Front has a picture of a person drinkiong chocolate milk and says, "Pensupreme Milk Delicious Hot or Cold Chocolate Milk". Back says, "Have You Tried Our Other Products" and lists the products including Reddi-Wip. Pyro is complete and bright. This authentic milk bottle is from 1958 and is in good condition with no cracks, dings, chips, but does show some casewear as seen in the pictures. A nice addition for the collector of Lancaster PA Penn. Pennsylvania or Lancaster Co. County PA milk bottles. I have been told that this is a hard to find milk bottle from Lancaster PA. By popular demand, the Lititz Historical Foundation is proud to welcome back David Heckel, who will discuss the history of Pensupreme dairy in Lancaster County. The lecture will take place at the Lititz Library’s community room on Saturday, January 16th beginning at 1:30pm. Heckel is the grandson of Eli L. Garber, who founded the original company. Eli L. Garber was born on February 11th, 1864. In 1890, he invested his money in the Garber-Reist Company located in Stevens, PA. By 1895, they began operating a creamery and egg business which was located at the current site of Susquehanna Banks headquarters on Cedar Street in Lititz. It was at this location that the business incorporated under the name E.L. Garber and Son. In 1929, the company’s name was changed to Penn Dairies, Inc., with the trade name now known as Pensupreme. Pensupreme ice cream was a VERY popular treat in the area, and the company also owned several convenience stores around the county. My Policies: Pyroglazed milk bottles come filled with white milk bottle beads or white polyfill. Embossed bottles are not filled with beads. Bottles come with original milk bottle caps.
