Rated by Picknfile on December 16, 2020 Summary: I used this because new instruments are prohibitively expensive for my 1961 F100. It was easy to install as any other add-on universal gauge. It has many ways to adjust. Instructions provide good direction on setting the float. In my case the unit would not drop into the relatively small hole in my original in cab tank the way it was sent. Instructions did not mention this issue. But I found that I could slide the rheostat part down to the end and still make the correct length adjustment. Then, it went into the small hole easily. I think it is truly able to fit most applications. I was not able to find a 2 1/16 hole saw to cut a hole for the gauge. I used a 2 1/8, I spread the clamp bracket a little bit and the gauge went in fine, it seems to have a little taper on the outer flange which helps. The look is perfect match to my original speedo and gauges. Mine did not come with a mounting for under dash like most add on gauges. I put mine in dash so I did not need one, but that is something to ask about if you will need one. Yes, I recommend this product.
