Description: Set of 6 Pink Luster Soft Paste Porcelain Floral Tea Cups & Saucers C. 1830 - 40 Set of 6 pink luster soft paste porcelain London Form tea cups and saucers. Decorated with hand painted hand painted red, yellow, green, and blue overglaze enamel floral designs. Unmarked. Circa 1830s to 1840s. These have some wear to the luster and some of the pieces have crazing typical of British bone china. One of the cups has an in manufacture firing separation extending off the lip in front of the handle. Two of the saucers have light overall staining of the type that may soak out. One saucer has a Y shaped hairline on the bottom in the center, which appears to be in manufacture. One saucer has a small in manufacture firing separation near to the foot rim. Each cup measures approximately 4 1/8 inches wide x 2 1/2 inches tall. Each saucer measures approximately 5 3/8 inches wide. These are antiques and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the pieces. HR
