Description: Selmer USA Tenor Saxophone, Serial #822677. Recently serviced with cleaned original pads, some new pads, and is in great playing condition. It is clear toned and doesn't need work. The original lacquer shows wear with pitting in many places. See photos.This horn is made in the USA and is a Model 164 probably from between 1983-86. It was not played much since the 80s, a "closet" instrument. It is a good horn and needs to be played! It would be great for a pro, a semi-pro, a doubler or an advancing student. Fantastic hard case, lightweight. Not a Bundy, not a Selmer Paris Mark VI, a Selmer USA model that was made to be the US version of the Mark VI.
