This is a group of original Seeburg advertising items - this company knew very well the power of promotion and used printed materials to actively promote their products. This listing is for four different original advertising brochures for the Seeburg Home Stereo Center model 6000 "Kenilworth" of the late 1960's. The four items consist of the following: 1) A large folded brochure with information about the Seeburg Home Music Center automatic phonographs made in the late 1960's - it measures 8.5 by 11 inches when closed and 17 by 22 inches when opened. 2) "To Assure Your Enjoyment of Your Seeburg Series 6000 Audiomation Stereo System" - this is the 12 page set up and owner's information booklet. This piece measures 4.5 by 7.25 inches and is dated September, 1968. 3) "Audiomation is Here. (Automation Set to Music)" - this piece unfolds to a size of 8 by 16 inches and is dated May, 1968. 4) "Audiomation..Tomorrow's Way of Playing and Enjoying Records Today" - this small mailer unfolds to a size of 5.5 by 11 inches and is dated April, 1968. All of the Seeburg photographs I am selling at this time came out of the Seeburg building in Chicago just before it was closed and emptied in 1980. They are part of the material which Don Muller managed to save before Seeburg threw everything left in the building into dumpsters. Don spent a week there in the summer of 1980 as they emptied out the building in preparation for the auction held September 24th and 25th, 1980. He had bought all of their remaining parts inventory but was only allowed a few days to move what he could before they threw everything else away. 2016 DEC 874 2011 BR 546-549, 607-620
