In 1917 - the chief of staff of the 7th Cavalry Division and the Consolidated Military Corps of General Wrangel. After the October Revolution, he lived in Moscow. In the spring of 1919, he arrived in Yekaterinodar and, from there, went into exile. In exile, he lived first in France, then in the USA, returned to Europe, died in Monte Carlo, and was buried in a Russian cemetery in France.
