"RELIC" Fender Squier STRATOCASTER "California Blue" Vintage/Retro *LOOK HERE!

NOTE: Due to different viewing screens, colors and/or contrast, etc. of pictures may look different than actual. This is a 2023 Fender Squier Stratocaster that's been Relic'd (aged) and modified to somewhat resemble a vintage Stratocaster. Poplar Body with a California Blue finish. It's been distressed with finish swirls, a few dings & chips to replicate age & playwear from years of use. "ALL" the Hardware has been aged down to every single screw! These are cosmetic modifications only that doesn't affect playability.The Single-Coil Pickups in these late model Squier Strats sound great! They've vastly improved over the years and have strong output, tone and clarity in all 5-pickup selections. Original single-ply Pickguard was replaced with a new 3-ply Mint Green Pickguard with matching back Tremolo Cover that have also been aged, and look great against the Blue finish, and add to the vintage/retro look. Original Pickup Covers, Knobs, Switch-Tip & Tremolo Tips have been changed out for new Cream parts, also aged. Has a vintage style Tremolo Bridge and the Squier logo Neck Plate was replaced with an aged Blank Neck-Plate.Maple Neck with a 21 medium Fret Maple Fretboard, slim C-shape profile, 25.5" scale, 9.5" radius, 1-11/16" nut-width. To further improve playability, the Fretboard has been lightly sanded with a very fine grit, conditioned with lemon-oil, then thoroughly buffed to make the Fretboard very smooth, better than it came from the manufacture and plays with ease! *I do this to almost all Guitars I sell, new & used and makes for a significant improvement in playability. Frets are perfect, have been dressed and polished so they're bright & slick. Fret-Ends rounded to for a comfortable feel...no sharp Fret-Ends. *The Fretboard wasn't distressed for best playability. Back of the Neck was also lightly sanded with a fine grit to remove a bit of the clear-coat finish, buffed, oiled, then meticulously buffed again. *Back of the Neck wasn't distressed either, for great playability. There aren't any dents or dings. It's "ultra-smooth", fast and plays fantastic! And it has a Rosewood Skunk-Stripe on the back and Truss-Rod Plug like Fender USA & MIM Necks have. Headstock has a vintage style water-slide decal applied and the entire Headstock sealed with Lacquer. Retains some of the serial number, showing this is a 2023 model. Original 2-pin sealed-gear Tuners were replaced with a new set of quality vintage style Inline Tuners with split-shafts that have been aged, adding to the vintage/retro look.Strung up with a fresh set of quality D'Addario 10-46 Strings (the Brand most Pros use & the only Strings I use) and a complete set-up done including: truss-rod relief, low action, intonation & Pickup heights. Wonderful playing and sounding Strat with a vintage/retro appearance and is an affordable alternative! Like most of my Relic Guitars, the intention was to make it look like an "under the bed find" of an old, well-used Vintage Guitar. If you like the popular Relic look, I believe you'll LOVE this Strat! Has a vintage appearance, like it's been played & gigged for years! Tremolo Arm (Whammy-Bar) is included. Weighs 7.0 pounds. No Case. Absolutely blows away a stock Squier Stratocaster in playability...period!*Use the Zoom feature and look closely at every inch the Relic details. **Note that any white spots or shadows seen in pictures are only reflections or glare from lighting. Since I retired, I upgrade, modify, customize, Relic and sell Guitars as a Hobby to keep busy. I consider Guitars to be "playable Art", with the playability of the Neck & Set-Up of course being key. I'm not a professional Luthier, but well above an amateur & I'm "extremely meticulous"! If you're looking for this type of Guitar, think about if other Sellers work on Guitars (most don't) and know how to set them up. Is the Neck straight, Truss-Rod functional, Fretboard clean? Are the Frets oxidized needing cleaned & polished, have dead frets or buzz that requires the frets to be leveled? Will the Strings be rusty or dead, needing a new set? And if it's a used Guitar, I'm sure you've found they usually arrive dusty, needing cleaning and require major tweaking just to be playable! Not this one! Also, will other Seller's description be as thorough as mine? Remember that you get what you pay for!This being said, I must also note: The Neck is perfectly straight, and it plays great, but I can't predict how you like your Guitar set up, so be advised that adjustments or a set-up to your preference "may" be required, and if you can't do it yourself, the costs associated with these adjustments should be expected. Also note that Guitars are made of Wood, and when in transit to you, temperature changes and/or Delivery Service Handling can affect my initial set-up, that again may require adjustments on your end. This is true of ANY Guitar shipped from an individual or from online Big-Box Stores.
