Description: This is an amazing piece of Italian pottery. I believe that it was Aldo Londi design for Bitossi. This owl has a creamy white glaze with periwinkle and teal/turquoise details for the owl's feathers and face. It is signed and numbered on the bottom rim (see photos). The owl measures about 6.25 inches tall. There are glaze pops on the head, tail and body of the owl (see photos). There is a glaze chip on the back of one of the ears of the owl. The bottom as one point had some felt or something covering the bottom rim and there is some discoloration and residue left behind (see photos).
