Description: This is a RARE, vintage Joe Gigl hand carved/painted minnow (Wolf River Jig). Joe Gigl was a WI carver from Freemont, WI (1880-1962), whose minnows were copied by many other carvers including Clifford "Moody" Lind and Dave Kinsman. This is a must for your WI lure collection! The lure is dark green with black spots. It is in very good condition; there is an underside area that the paint looks to have been sanded off, smooth.
