RARE Vintage 100% VICUNA swing coat – near-MINT Exceptionally SOFT

Description: Vintage 100% VICUNA swing coat near-PRISTINE – SOFTEST material – roomy W’s L/XL This STUNNING, elegant long swing coat features a full collar, an open front, and two side pockets. It’s fully lined in a silky, satiny material. The shoulder seams are quite unique (see pics), enabling freedom of movement. The sensation of touching this vicuna coat is almost indescribable—it’s that soft. Not even the most expensive cashmere comes close. Vicuna wool is not only soft, warm, and lightweight; it is also one of the rarest fibers on planet Earth. To own a pure vicuna coat is to own a veritable treasure. I’m only selling this coat due to financial necessity after a long brain illness (am better now; cognition has returned!). I purchased this beautiful coat decades ago and kept it in a moth-proof zippered bag, but never wore it. It has been freshly dry-cleaned at an environmentally friendly dry cleaner (still has tags) and is ready to find a new home. The coat is nearly FLAWLESS with two exceptions: [1] towards the hem in the seam of the lining there’s an area that needs to be resewn (if desired; it is hidden when the coat is being worn). Please see 4th-and 5th-to-last photos. [2] I just now discovered this while photographing the coat—there are two tiny places (bigger than flea bites) on the left side of the back where the fabric is rubbed thin. While photographing the coat lying flat a couple of days ago, I didn’t notice them, and they don’t show up on the photos. Only just now, while the coat was hanging on the form, did they become apparent. Please see last three photos. There is no size tag, so please go by the measurements below. I’d say it would best fit a Woman’s Large or possibly an Extra-large, as its quite roomy. When I purchased it I was a smallish Medium, and it hung beautifully on a Medium as well.
