Description: RARE Antique Victorian MUNSON Copper Lightning Rod Weathervane. The stand is 37" tall and rhe lightning rod total length is 71", ball is marked "Cole Bros pat Dec 12 1893 (likely not the original). The glass is a smoked clear to light amber. This was removed from a home in the Savannah Georgia area. This piece is absolutely stunning from the twisted rod and stand to the copper spear tip. Pictures dont do this piece justice.To save a good amount on shipping the legs will be strapped tight together use caution when opening the legs they may spring but likely they will need to be pulled out when you receive them.
