Description: Rectangle watch men used pre-owned. Bought in Dubai in 1983 from Oriental Stores, the authorized Rado retailer in the UAE. Given to me as a graduation gift, it has been in its box ever since. Per Rado Switzerland (in writing): "the watch reference is 01.132.0119.3.065 and is called Rado DiaStar Elegance. We’ve produced this watch between 1980-1987 with a total of 2000 pcs. The diamonds on the dial are genuine and are not simili-stones". (This confirmation can be submitted upon further interest). There are a total of 72 white diamonds and 16 blue diamonds on the dial. On the guarantee booklet: "Hardness degree of 8.5 on the Mohs scale". Case/Bezel: Tungsten/Ceramic coating; Sapphire crystal; Gold plated stainless steel bracelet. There is some oxidation on the bracelet and the battery needs to be replaced. A unique watch, needless to say, and one of the most expensive Rado ever made. As much a jewelry piece as it is a timepiece.
