But when the new agent messes up, will Chace just make things worse? I am not a comics grader, but I try to be as thorough as possible when assessing books for any flaws. I don't believe in using a number grade system - to me they are mostly utilized as a method to be ambiguous about exact condition and/or individual imperfections - but I do attempt to describe anything other than minor cover shelf-scuffing/scratching in detail. If a certain flaw discussed below does not mention that it affects inside pages, then it does not. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- These novels are in good overall conditions, both with solid spines and excellent overall inside pages (photo#17 examples). They do have some signs of wear, although the flaws are primarily lighter in severity and affecting their externals, all described below. Other than one spine edge indent and a large back cove crease, some mostly lighter signs of wear, all of which primarily affect its externals. USC has some scuffing around it, LSC has light scuffing. Spine edge has an indent near its middle, shows on each adjacent cover as ~1" creases, with an additional ~2" depression on the front (photo#10 w/illumination) and a ~1" crease on the back (photo#11 w/illumination). Front and back covers' top edges have some light shelf-scuffing/wear with an additional small scuff on the front's near its middle, their bottom edges have some scuffing with tiny scuffs around them. Back's top edge has an adjacent light ~1.5" indent towards the spine corner. FTOC and BTOC have tiny scuffs/bends, back's goes thru most pages as a light bend. FBOC has a small peel/scuff/bend, BBOC has a tiny scuff/bend that goes thru ~1/2 pages as a light bend. Front cover possesses a ~1"x~2" patch of some sticker residue near the FTOC (might come off; I prefer not to mess with them). Some light horizontal scratches around cover's lower half (photo#12 w/illumination). Back cover has a light vertical crease/depression spanning its height towards the page edge (photos#13, 14 w/illumination). Light ~1/2" indent near the page edge, with a few light scratches near the spine edge. Each cover's page edge has a small scuff near their middles. **Vol 7: Good condition, with a solid spine and excellent inside pages. Some primarily lighter and external signs of wear. USC and LSC have light scuffing/peeling. Spine edge has some tiny color breaks spread around its middle where it meets the front cover. Front and back covers' top edges have little if any shelf-wear/scuffing other than an adjacent ~1/2" indent on the front near the FTOC. Front cover's bottom edge has a ~1/2" indent towards the spine corner, with ~2.5" of scuffing towards the outer corner. Back cover has 4 small scuffs around its middle. FTOC and BTOC have tiny scuffs/bends/cover peels. FBOC has a ~1/2" crease/scuff/bend, shows on ~4 pages as a light indent. BBOC has a tiny indent/scuff/bend. Front cover possesses a ~1"x~2" patch of some sticker residue near the FTOC (photo#15 w/illumination, might come off; I prefer not to mess with them). Light ~1" indent/depression near the page edge's middle, light ~3.5" scratch/depression near cover's center. Back cover has a light ~1" indent/depression near the page edge's middle (photo#16 w/illumination), and another near its center.
