The jersey is numbered 19/41 in black, block numbers at the bottom of the front side of the jersey. There are 5 screened on pictures on the front of this jersey along with a write up and the stats of the future 41st President of the United States...George Bush. One of the screened on photos shows George Bush with Babe Ruth. Another photos is a picture of the Yale baseball team. The screened on, write-up portion reads... "George Bush played varsity baseball for Yale University in 1947 (19-8) and captained the team in 1948 (20-7). The Bulldogs participated in the first ever College World Series in '47 and returned for a second appearance in '48 before losing in the finals both years to the University of California & USC respectively. Yale varsity coach, Ethan Allen, a former major leaguer in the 20's & 30's observed some of the greatest first basemen of all time such as HOFers Lou Gehrig & Bill Terry. He commented that Bush was one of the best he'd ever seen and s Sports Illustrated article described him as a "slick-fielding first basemen". With a modest career batting average of .251, Bush was once asked to comment on his former coach's assessment of him as "all-glove-no hit".
