Description: 0053 / Postcard Valentine Girl Hat Flowers Wood Grain 1906 Sent to West Upton, Mass. MAThis undivided antique undivided back postcard is a Valentine that reads "A Valentine Message." The design is a portrait of a rosy-cheeked girl in a blue dress wearing a hat with flowers inside a heart shaped frame with a woodgrain design. The card was sent to Miss Mabel Bryant, Box 282, West Upton, Massachusetts from Norridgewock, Maine (ME) on February 13, 1906.I cannot verify the artist of the design, but I saw this same design on a Winch back postcard which made me think it may be a Schmucker design. Could not confirm. No tears, creases or bends. Condition of postcard is normal with age, and storage might have caused some yellowing/tanning, creases and edge dents, edge/corner wear and other wear, and could have some writing on front and/or back. Detailed scans/pictures are of front and back, please refer to them for more details on condition. Be sure to inspect the images well and ask any questions prior to purchasing.
