Description: Antique early-century Bavarian "sugar shaker" - no, this is not one half of a salt & pepper set, it is for sugaring your pastries, tea, or coffee. Or anything else they put sugar on back then. The hole in the bottom is for filling, and is stoppered with a cork. This shaker is missing the cork, but they never survive over 100 years anyway, and you can get a new one at Hobby Lobby for a buck or two. I often accept reasonable offers. This object has no chips, scratches, or cracks. the little crescent in the fill hole edge at the bottom of the shaker is not a chip. It is smooth and glazed over. It's there so you have a spot to pry out the cork. I also offer friendly local pickup if you are in my area or passing through!
