The codec is so small, 11"x5"x1", that it can be hidden away and out of view, with all your cable attachments, while the camera mounts neatly on a shelf above your monitor or projection screen. Unless you are performing remote surgery or using the system to design the next Mars rocket, 720p is what is recommended. 1080p requires a lot of bandwidth and with that need come additional problems with firewalls, networks (especially MPLS networks), and operating costs. However, if you need to add the 1080p option, Skype for Business, Second Monitor option, or a Polycom Extended Warranty, you can purchase those options from GAVX now or at a later date.
