Description: This is a hard to find American Girl of Today #10 doll. This doll is always on the lists of rare and hard to find dolls. This line of dolls was released in 1995 with 20 different dolls. There were 3 face molds, 5 eye colors, 5 hair colors, and 3 skin tones. This number 10 has the classic face mold, green eyes, dark brown hair and fair skin. There were two brown hair wigs one was a lighter brown, which is very common. The other was this dark brown which is far harder find. This doll has slightly more face paint than the 1995 and 1996 dolls which were very pale. But she still has the fuller face. The 1999 dolls have slimmer heads. Which makes her a 1997 or 1998 doll. Since she has the 1998 white with black polka dot underwear I would say she is a 1998 doll. She is wearing the "Play Outfit" released in 1998 and retired two years later. It consists of the white tank top, denim overskirt, print skirt, brown sandals, print stiff headband, and a necklace. This outfit is complete. She comes with the American Girl Today wrist tag with Mini Grin pins on the back. She has a pretty face, she holds a pose and she is very clean.
