Body of the lanterns is copper and the wall mount with the spiral decorative element is brass. There is no steel or other cheap material in these fixtures, it's all copper and brass, down to the rivets. Glass is missing. It can be either replaced or sconces can be used as is with outdoor rated bulbs. Fixtures can be refinished or installed as is for a more original look.
