They are a generous 19X19 inches square, and feature a sumptuous center flower bouquet, stitched in wool, with too many different colors, shades, tints and flowers to identify. Having been taught needlepoint, embroidery and various other needlecrafts as a child (cultral imperative)I can tell you that this is needlework falls somewhere between needlepoint an petit point. . .numbering more than 250 stitches per square inch. The small, fine stitching allows for greater detail in the overall design as well as the ability to offer finely shaded hues and tones of color so that the pillows have both texture and dimension.
