Description: Pair of Boston and Sandwich Glass Co. flint glass whale oil lamps......Horn of Plenty pattern. Ca. 1850. At some point in their past, they were made into lamps. They are not damaged from that process but are sold with remnants of electric fittings. These are being left "as found"....the fittings can be removed but we are not lamp experts so will leave that to the buyer. There are a few expected very minor "flea bites" and there is one tiny glass bubble pop on one stem. They are slightly different in size. The slightly larger one is approx 11 1/4" tall (with the fitting) and approx 10" tall to base of fitting. The other is approx 10 1/4" tall (to the top of the fitting) and approx 9 3/4" tall to the base of the fitting. Please view photos as part of description.
