We have been repairing classic coin-op arcade PC boards for over 20 years and counting. I have a personal collection of over 60 arcade classics, as well as maintain a Facebook page where all repairs are documented, photographed, so that details of repair can be shared with the arcade community.Here are the details of this listing:You box up and send your complete non-working Pac-Man or Ms. Pac-Man board to us. Please do not send bootleg boardsets or a boardset where every socketed IC has been purposely replaced with known bad IC chips aor those will be returned to the buyer. If the board is dusty and dirty, that's OK as these boards are over 40 years old and should be a bit dusty!!As seen in one of the pictures, is a stack of Pac-man boards that were recently refurbished and repaired for a local operator of amusement equipment. Most of these boards when received were filthy and had some type of electronic issue, whether not working at all, a graphics problem, sound problem, etc... This is what we do to EVERY Pac-man and Ms. Pac-Man board we receive:1) All socketed chips removed and cleaned, this includes the ones on the Ms. Pac-Man daughter board!!2) Edge connector cleaned and any heat damage is repaired with copper foil3) New 10 volt 10,000 uF main filter capacitors replaced4) If you send us a Ms. Pac-Man and the ribbon cable is sketchy, we replace that with a NEW ribbon cable5) All 40-year old IC sockets are removed and replaced with new 'dual wipe' sockets. No more intermittent socket issues, ever. If you send us a Ms. Pac-Man set, the IC sockets on the small daughter board are also replaced!!!6) The small plug-in boards are cleaned7) The main board is cleaned 8) Any missing heat sinks on the small graphics RAMs are replaced9) The board is repaired and then fully function tested to make sure that game play, graphics, sound, etc.. are working 100 percent.10) Board is run for 24 hours to assure there are no heat-related issues Buy with confidence, as we stand behind our work, and you pay one price, with no hidden fees.
