Its ability to cut the glare makes them ideal for media rooms, studios, or any room where sun control is desired. The fabric is UV protected, waterproof, dust proof, mildew resistant. It suits for both indoor and outdoor applications. The fabric is very durable and sport rated mesh fabric. The shades come with a manual clutch chain pull lift with a pet and child safety clip. You can also upgrade to an automatically opening/closing shade with an electric smart motor. The optional smart motor is compatible with Google Home and Amazon Alexa voice control. Inside Mount: For example, if your window inside frame measures 35" in width by 50" in length:The window width is the shade width, 35".The window height is the shade height or higher (higher is fine since an extra high shade can be stacked, but it cannot be shorter since it would not be able to cover), 64". Outside Mount: For example, if your window measures 35" in width by 50" in length:Add at least 2" or more to the shade width, 35"+2"=37".Add at least 6 " or more to the shade the shade height or higher (higher is fine since an extra high shade can be stacked, but it cannot be shorter since it would not be able to cover), 64". Record the height. Note: Round up measurements to the nearest 1/8"inch (or 1mm). Do not deduct bracket and drive space from your measurements, we will make sure that they will fit. Outside Mount Measurements: Width: Measure the width where you want the blinds to cover. Add extra width on both sides for desired coverage and overlap.Height: Measure the height from the top to the desired length. Add any extra height for mounting brackets or valances.Note: Make sure to measure wide enough as to cover the entire window and provide maximum light gap coverage. However, this is not a rule other than that shade can cover the opening for your personal preference. A few of things to be considered. May measure the window diagonally to check if the window is square or not. If the window is not square, measure the width at the widest point for outside mount and the narrowest point for inside mount, and the height at the tallest point.If you have multiple windows side by side, try to equally divide the center space for a cohesive look.Check for Obstacles: Ensure there is enough clearance for the shades to operate smoothly, especially if there are handles, cranks, or other obstructions on the window.Double-Check: Review your measurements to ensure accuracy before ordering or purchasing roller shades or blinds.
