The 1-3/4" gold-toned La Salette crucifix is like the won worn by the Blessed Mother during the apparitions of Our Lady of LaSalette. The cross arms have a pincers on one side and a hammer on the other. The idea behind this crucifix is that you are reminded to think about each of your actions and whether they will hammer the nails into the flesh of Jesus (sin), or will pull the nails out (repentance and reparation). It also reminds us to pray for the conversion of sinners. Both the crucifix and the centerpiece were made in Italy; the chaplet itself was designed and handmade by me in our home in the USA. The 15 beads are 8 mm genuine Czech glass beads, faceted and fire-polished. The Hail Mary beads are an aurora borealis light aqua blue. The two Our Father beads are aurora borealis crystal. As "Our Lady of Good Success" she told the Mariana of evil infiltrating the church which would harm children and of the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony being defiled. The prophecies were long ago approved by the Church. Mother Mariana is not yet canonized a saint but she is truly a mystic for our own times.All of these prophecies have come true, except for the last one, which Our Lady said would be a "marvelous restoration of what has been lost to the Church and the world". She said there would be "depraved priests would scandalize the Christian people and incite the hatred of bad Christians and the enemies of the Catholic Church to fall upon all the priests. This apparent triumph of Satan would bring enormous sufferings to the good priests." She promised that when it appeared that Satan has won, it will be "my hour" when she would dethrone Satan...and trample him under my feet." Mary also said she promises "Good Success" for the endeavors of those who spread devotion to her under this title of Our Lady of Good Success. The Blessed Mother said that this devotion to her would become more widely known beginning in the 20th century, and that devotion to her as Our Lady of Good Success, especially praying the novena, is the way to bring about her victory over satan. What is amazing is that although these visions have been known for 400 years, it has been only recently that it appears to be spreading, just like she said! In 1906, Mother Mariana and some of her sisters were exhumed and found to be incorrupt. There are a lot of videos and websites about Our Lady of Good Success, with lots of info about all the prophecies, etc. Fr Chris Alar from the Divine Mercy Shrine in Massachusetts recently did an hour talk about this topic which inspired me to make more of these rosaries. We include a prayer card with the Novena prayers and a beautiful prayer patterned after the Anima Christi. Any questions please ask!
