Description: This set includes two mid-grade Silver Age comics from the Our Fighting Forces series, issues #87 and #91. The comics are in good condition and perfect for collectors of war genre comics. These are two(2) Silver Age DC war comics in mid grade condition that have moderate surface wear , but still whole/complete and solid issues. The cover on # 87 is in good shape with a smaller missing chunk (1/4x1/4 inch), some spine abrasion with spine ticks, small missing chunk upper right corner(1/8 inch).The cover is mostly flat with some indents on and near the spine edge.Corners are rounded. Colors/inks are decent, as well as gloss/sheen. Inside pages are tannish,cream colored, all pages are intact. back cover has surface wear appropriate with its age. The 2nd comic #91 has some moderate surface wear with a rectangular missing chunk upper right corner(1/2x 1/4 inch)some light abrasion on the spine (nicks,ticks, stress marks)a light crease (book length) in the middle of cover, smaller creases on the lower left side, indenting and dimpling on and near the spine edge, light crease (4 inch) upper right corner, some edge wear. Colors/inks are decent, gloss/sheen are reduced. Inside pages are whole and complete, no missing advertisements, no cut outs , two pages on the 2nd story have a smaller missing piece on the bottom corners(1/4 inch). Back cover has a piece of tape(1 inch) on upper middle, spine wear, a few smaller tears on the opposite side. These are two (2) lower/mid grade comics that have some moderate to significant defects, but are whole, complete,solid issues that are both valuable and collectible.Please look at the photos.
