It will be shipped to the winner in the screwdown lucite holder pictured. Carl Erskine was a true workhorse for the Brooklyn Dodgers. He both started and came in to relieve on the mound. He was a real gamer. In spite of tearing a muscle in his pitching arm early on with the Dodgers, at a time when surgery was not an option to repair it, he frequently threw with pain and had a remarkable overall Won/Loss record upon his retirement. He will also be remembered as the last living Boys of Summer.
