Old RPPC Toddler Gussie Mengle & Her Dog

Description: Here is an old RPPC (real photo post card) of and toddler dressed in all white with a white bonnet, coat and stockings along with black shoes. She is sitting at a small chair, next to another chair that her dog is sitting on. The dog is mostly dark color with white on his front legs, back paws, chest and nose. On the back, the toddler is identified as Gussie Mengle, written in pen. Written in pencil is a note that reads Here is dear little gusies and reing. When are you coming down rit Soon Mrs Mengle. The note in pencil is much older than the writing of the child's name in ink. The postcard is not addressed, stamped or postmarked. We don't know where the Mengle's lived or when this photo was taken. Do not know who the note was meant for either. The photo is nice, the white border had darkened with age and there are some rough edges and corners. The back has writing on it. Makes a great research project. Postage will be 4.75 to the U. S.
